DATE : August 17, 2022 By this writ petition the petitioner has prayed that a direction be issued to respondent No.1-University to consider the grant of permission for starting N. M. Science College, Umred Road, Nagpur in the academic Session 2022-2023.

On 13/07/2022 when notice was issued in the writ petition, a direction was issued to respondent No.1 to consider the petitioner's request in that regard. Today it is informed by the learned counsel for the petitioner that on 06/08/2022 the University has granted permission to N. M. Science College, Umred Road to start academic Session from 2022-2023 without fail.

In view of aforesaid communication, the purpose of filing the writ petition stands served. Needless to state that the University shall also consider the aspect of affiliation to the said college to enable it to grant admission to the students.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly with no order as to costs.
