It is not in dispute that the term of the present body has been extended till 17-10-2022. It is also not in dispute that by the notification issued on 30-9-2022, the roster of seats has been declared. Therefore, practically, all the grievances of the petitioners have now been redressed. The only grievance, which has remained, is about holding of the elections. As per the communication dated 3-10-2022, the elections are going to be held very soon. The said communication signed by the Collector, Nagpur, is placed on record by the learned Assistant Government Pleader and marked as 'A'. Now, the entire purpose of this petition is fulfilled.

The petition is disposed of in terms of the notification dated 30-9-2022 and the communication dated 3-10-2022 ('A'). No costs.
