This is an application for grant of compounding of Crime No.269 of 2014 registered with Police Station Jaripatka for the offence punishable under Section 498-A read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. This is the joint application filed by the complainant- respondent no.2 Nisha Kamal Kewalrmani and the applicants.

In view of the law laid down by the Apex Court in the case of Gian Singh .vs. State of Punjab and another reported in (2012) 10 Supreme Court Case 303, the application needs to be allowed. 3.
