By this application, the applicant is seeking delay of five days, which is caused in preferring the appeal against the acquittal.

Heard learned APP for the applicant/State, who submitted that the Sessions Judge has pronounced the judgment on 30/07/2024. Thereafter, the certified copies are obtained, and the State has to obtain the opinion for preferring the appeal, wherein the time was consumed, and therefore, a five-day delay is caused.

In view of the reasons mentioned in the application, which appear to be just and sufficient. The delay of 5 days is hereby condoned.

The appeal be registered. On registration of the appeal, notice be issued to the respondents, returnable after four weeks.
