Considering the allegations made in the first information report as against these applicants, I am of the view that their custodial interrogation would not be required. The allegations, at this stage, appear to be general in nature insofar as the offences punishable under Section 467, 468 and 498-A read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and also under Sections 3 and 4 of the Prevention of Dowry Act are concerned. The allegation pertaining to the offence punishable under Section 420 of the Indian Penal Code is mainly against the husband of the complainant, who is presently in jail of Australia. Therefore, I am of the view that these applicants deserve to be granted anticipatory bail. Hence, the order. The application is allowed and the interim bail granted to the applicants by this Court on 04/7/2016 is hereby confirmed on the same conditions.
