Our attention has been invited to Maharashtra Ordinance No.XVII of 2018. That Ordinance introduces Section 4C in Act No.XXIII of 2001. As per this amended provision, the students possessing Caste Certificate are enabled to seek provisional admission in absence of validity after fulfilling the procedure stipulated therein.

In these circumstances, it is apparent that the petitioners before this Court are entitled to benefit of this Ordinance in on going admission process.

Hence, grievance of the petitioners does not survive. The petitions are accordingly disposed of. No costs. Steno copy granted.
