Date : 22 nd September, 2017 The claim in this petition is to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner for appearing in the forthcoming interview for admission to MBBS Course as a candidate belonging to Other Backward Class Category.

On 2-8-2002, this Court passed an order as under : "

Heard Adv. Mr. Anil Kumar for the Petitioner and Mr. A.M. Deshpande, the learned A.G.P.

Notice before admission returnable on 7th August, 2002.

Taking into consideration the facts and the alleged inadvertent mistake committed by the petitioner, we direct the Authority concerned that the petitioner be interviewed

as an O.B.C. candidate on the Scheduled date i.e. on 5th August, 2002. However, so far as regards her result of interview is concerned, the same shall not be declared until further orders form this Court.

The learned A.G.P. Waives notice for the respondents. He should inform the competent Authority immediately.

Hamdast is allowed.

Steno copy of the order is allowed."

The matter was thereafter admitted on 24-2-2003 with a further order of continuation of interim arrangement. On 10-3-2003, this Court passed an order as under : "

The learned A.G.P. waives notice on behalf of both the respondents, hence there is no necessity to pay Bhatta. The copy of petition has already been furnished to the respondents.

Heard both sides.

By order dated 2/8/2002, the petitioner was ordered to be interviewed as an O.B.C. candidate but the result of the interview was not to be declared until further orders from this Court. The respondents, may therefore, place before this Court the result of the interview on the

next date.

S.O. two weeks.

No further adjournment shall be granted in this matter."

Thereafter there is no order passed by this Court till this date.

Probably, the result of the petitioner for admission to MBBS Course as a candidate belonging to Other Backward Class Category was not declared. However, it is informed by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the petitioner was declared unsuccessful in the examination. In view of this, the petition has become infructuous.
