The only prayer made by the petitioner is for expeditious consideration of his tribe claim of belonging to Thakur Scheduled Tribe. It is seen that by an earlier order dated
wp4036.2023 28.11.2017 passed in Writ Petition No.5112/2017 (Prajwalit Ashokrao Shinde, Buldhana V/s. Vice Chairman/Joint Commissioner, S.T. Caste Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Amravati and others) this Court had directed the process of verification to be completed within a period of one year. It is submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader that second enquiry by the Vigilance Cell has been proposed. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that by the communication dated 23.5.2023 the petitioner's employer has called upon him to submit his validity certificate. In aforesaid facts, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the Scrutiny Committee to complete the process of verification within a period of six months from today. Till the process of verification is completed, the services of the petitioner shall not be disturbed for want of validity certificate. Rule is disposed of in aforesaid terms. No costs.
