Considering the nature of the directions proposed to be issued, notice to the respondent Nos.2 to 5 is dispensed with.

Ms N.P. Mehta, learned Assistant Government Pleader, waives service of notice for the respondent No.1.

The petitioner, who is a Sarpanch of Grampanchayat Jawarabodi, Tahsil Chimur, District Chandrapur, has sought to raise a grievance with regard to the conduct of office by the respondent No.5 who is working as Gram Rozgar Sevak. Various complaints came to be made by the petitioner in this regard, pursuant to which an enquiry was held by the Extension Officer, Technical Assistant and Assistant Programme Officer under the Panchayat Samiti. The enquiry report did not find any illegality in the acts of the respondent No.5. It is however the grievance of the petitioner that such enquiry report has been prepared without considering the relevant statements in the proper perspective. The petitioner has thereafter moved the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Chandrapur raising a grievance in the matter and seeking an appointment of another Gram Rozgar Sevak.

In view of aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent No.2- Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Chandrapur to consider the representation of the petitioner as made on 10-4-2023 and, after giving an opportunity of being heard to the parties likely to be affected, take a decision thereon within a period of four weeks from receiving the copy of this order.
