DATED : JANUARY 18, 2021 Respondent no.4 filed an appeal before the Divisional Commissioner, Amravati, challenging order passed by Additional Collector, Buldhana on 02.05.2017, whereby she was disqualified to hold post of Member, Warkhed (Bk.), Gram Panchayat. On 01.06.2017, the Divisional Commissioner, Amravati Division, Amravati remanded the matter back. This order is under challenge before this Court.

Mr. Chopde, learned counsel for respondent no.4 submits that the term is already over. This fact is not disputed by Mr. Saboo, learned counsel for the petitioner. He submits that by now, after remand, the Additional Collector might have passed the order.

In view of above, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner as well as respondent no.4, to take steps in accordance with law, if the Additional Collector passes any adverse order in the matter of election-2015 pertaining to Gram Panchayat, Warkhed (Bk.).
