By this contempt petition, the petitioner seeks action against the respondent for willful disobedience of the order, dated 17/02/2014 in Writ Petition No.3429 of 2013.

According to the petitioner, despite specific directions to the respondent to take suitable decision in the matter of entitlement of the petitioner to be appointed on the post of Extension Officer, the respondent has not taken a decision till the filing of the contempt petition. Mrs.Joshi, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, states on the basis of the affidavit-in-reply that the respondent had taken a decision on 26/03/2014, i.e. even before the filing of the contempt petition. It is stated that if the petitioner is aggrieved by the said decision, he is free to file appropriate proceedings. It is stated that a copy of the decision, dated 26/03/2014, is annexed to the affidavit-in-reply.

Since the respondent has taken a decision in pursuance of our order of which the contempt is alleged, we dispose of the contempt petition with no order as to costs.
