The petitioner-Shakti Foundation claims to be a Society, which is registered at Pune. The Society is represented by Mr. Thakur Shyamsingh Jiyalal Gadrel, who claims to be the President of the Society and resident of Achalpur.

02] The grievance of the petitioner is that respondent 7, who was awarded the contract of road construction at Achalpur, did not execute the work properly.

03] The petitioner seeks direction to respondents 1 to 6 to inspect the road and interim order is sought that pending the hearing and final disposal of the petition, the contractor may not be paid the contractual dues.

04] In the affidavit in response filed on behalf of the State Government, a statement is made that the said work is already examined by the vigilance and quality control, and report dated 17/11/2022 is submitted. The report is that the work is not substandard as alleged by the petitioner.

921.wp.3959.22 2/2 05] Apart from the fact that the grievance of the petitioner stands satisfied, we note that the petitioner has not invoked the P.I.L. jurisdiction and, therefore, the locus is also suspect. 06] The petition is dismissed. No costs.
