By this application, applicant is seeking condonation of delay of 25 days in filing the appeal against the judgment and order passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Yavatmal in Claim Petition No.71/2016, decided on 23.1.2019.

For the reasons stated in the application, the application is allowed.

It is clear from record that after notices were issued to respondents on 24.6.2019, the matter was once listed on 22.7.2019. However, on that day service on respondents was awaited. Hence matter was adjourned for two weeks. Thereafter, present application is listed today i.e. near about after 6 years. Applicant, in the meantime, made no attempt to get listed the matter. Therefore, issue of entitlement of interest, in case appeal is allowed, is kept
