The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had filed an application for grant of Project Affected Person Certificate in the year 2000 and the same is not yet decided. A reference is made to the correspondence between respondent No.1 and respondent No.2.

We do not find the application filed by the petitioner on record. The letters placed on record at page Nos.32 and 34 are general in nature. The same do not refer to a particular representation or application by the petitioner.

Be that as it may, the petitioner may file a fresh application with the Authority concerned. The application shall be complete in all respects. The Authority shall, thereafter, take decision on the application of the

2 42-WP985-2023 petitioner for grant of Project Affect Person Certificate on its own merits and according to the law and policy, preferably within six months from the date of the application.

The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No order as to costs.
