The applicant - husband is seeking to amend the revision and is further seeking permission to place certain documents on record. It is not in dispute that the documents which are now sought to be placed on record, and that too in revision, were not placed on record either before the Family Court or then before the Appellate Court which decided the appeal under section 29 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 (DV Act). The proposed amendment seeks to introduce certain pleadings which are absolutely new and different from the original pleadings and I am not inclined, in revisional jurisdiction to permit the applicant - husband to place on record additional documents particularly since there is absolutely no explanation forthcoming why the documents could not be placed on record in the Family Court or then in

The application is dismissed.
