The applicant is apprehending arrest in Crime 271/2020 registered with Police Station Nagbhid, Chandrapur for offence punishable under section 304 of the Indian Penal Code.

Vide order dated 05.11.2020 the applicant was extended pre-arrest protection subject to certain conditions. It is not the case of the prosecution that the applicant has not complied with the conditions.

The allegation is that the applicant introduced electricity current in the agricultural field fencing to keep off the animals and unfortunately the deceased was electrocuted on coming into contact with the fence. 4.

Considering the nature of the accusations,

The pre-arrest protection granted vide order dated 05.11.2020 is made absolute with the only modification that till the charge-sheet is filed, the applicant shall attend the concerned police station as and when required by the Investigating Officer.
