The application seeks condonation of delay in filing an application for restoration of the Criminal Revision Application No. 8/2007 dismissed in default on 27.1.2010.

The only reason which has been given is that as the counsel failed to mark the matter in the cause list on 27.1.2010, the matter came to be dismissed in default. That, at the most would explain the reason why there was absence on 27.1.2010, however, the application does not indicate any reason whatsoever, justifying the delay in filing the application from 27.1.2010 till 12.7.2022, of a period of nearly 81⁄2 years.
