The petitioners have challenged the order passed by the subordinate Courts disqualifying them from continuing as the member of Grampanchayat, having failed to pay the taxes within stipulated time. The complaint against the present petitioners was filed on 20th September, 2007, the Additional Collector passed the order disqualifying the petitioners on 21st January, 2008 and the appeal filed by the petitioners is dismissed on 27th June, 2008. The learned A.G.P. states that obviously the term of the petitioners is over. In the above facts, the petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
