CORAM : B.P.DHARMADHIKARI AND P.N.DESHMUKH, JJ.
DATED : SEPTEMBER 16, 2015.
Advocate Shri Shende states that directions issued on 7th of January, 2015 while disposing of writ petition No.841 of 2014 are still not implemented. According to the petitioner, he is entitled to benefit of ACP since 2006, Learned AGP, upon instructions, states that as policy decision is required to be taken, respondents need time of six months to complete the exercise and to effect the payment thereafter. Affidavit tendered by learned AGP is taken on record. Grant of time of six months is being opposed by Advocate Shende. On considering the fact, we grant request made by learned AGP on behalf of the respondents.
Accordingly, we direct that necessary steps be taken within period of six months from today and petitioner should receive payment by 4th of April, 2016. If payment is not made by that time, petitioner shall be paid interest calculated at 8% per annum on entire amount from 2006 till date of payment.
With these directions, Contempt Petition stands disposed of. JUDGE JUDGE Chute.
