By this petition, the petitioner is challenging the order dated 31.03.2017 disqualifying the petitioner as a Member of Gram Panchayat.

Perusal of the petition discloses that the petitioner was elected as a Member of Gram Panchyat on 20.07.2015. According to provisions of Bombay Village Panchayat Act the terms of the Member of the Gram Panchayat is for a period 5 years. It is clear from the petition that the term of the petitioner has came to end on 20.07.2020. The petition is therefore become infructuous. The petition is therefore disposed of as infrutuous.
