The petitioner-Assistant Teacher appointed on 11.8.1997 from the reserved category viz. Scheduled Tribe (Halba) is seeking protection of his services by placing him on the supernumerary post.

The proposal is forwarded by the petitioner to the aforesaid effect through the lawyer's notice dated 17.4.2024. The copy of the same is also acknowledged by learned Assistant Government Pleader.

As such, we dispose of the petition with direction to respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner as has sought to be canvased in lawyer's notice dated 17.4.2024 as expeditiously as possible and in any case within four months from the date of production of this order, in accordance with law.
