The application is for grant of bail.

Heard learned Counsel for the applicant. The applicant was absconding since the date of incident i.e. 13.06.2003 and recently he was arrested on 08.12.2023. Considering that due to the absence of the accused, the trial was held up for more than 20 years, I have shown my disinclination to grant bail. Hence, the learned Counsel for the applicant seeks permission to withdraw the application with a request to expedite the trial.

Considering the incident is of the year 2003, the learned trial Court shall expedite and dispose of the trial at the earliest.

The application is disposed of as withdrawn.
