Heard.

Mr.Anand Parchure, learned Counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has not contacted his Office since last several years. According to him, the petitioner may have been superannuated in the year 2003-04 itself.

Mr.J.B.Jibhkate, learned Counsel for respondent no.2 informs that the petitioner has resigned. In this situation, it is apparent that the dispute about promotion is rendered infructuous. The petition is accordingly disposed of as 'infructuous'. No costs. JUDGE JUDGE jaiswal
