Heard.

The applicants seek pre-arrest bail, apprehending arrest in connection with crime registered against them for the offence punishable under Sections 12, 13(I)(a), 7, 4, 5 and 35 of the Fertilizers Control Order, 1985 and Section 7(I)(a)(II) of the Essential Commodities Act.

The crime is registered on the complaint lodged by the District Quality Control Inspector that the applicants and co-accused are selling sub-standard product and the quantity is also less than reflected on the bags containing the product.

The applicants claim to be employees of the company and according to them they are working as Sales Representatives.

2 ABA422.17 The applicants, aged about 33 years and 21 years respectively, claim that they are not involved in any other crime / offence.

Considering the facts of the case and nature of accusations against the applicants, following order is passed:

In the event of arrest in connection with Crime No.515/2017 registered by the non-applicant, the applicants be released on bail on executing P.R. bond for Rs.20,000/- (Rs. Twenty Thousand) each and furnishing one solvent surety in the like amount for each of the applicant.

The application is allowed in the above terms.
