DATED : MARCH 08, 2021.
Learned Advocate for the petitioner states that the order dated 13th November 2019 in respect of which the Contempt Petition was filed, and the order dated 1st March 2021 passed by this Court directing the respondents to allot Shalarth ID have been complied with by the respondents. 2.
We have considered the contention of the petitioner that there is wilful disobedience of the order dated 13th November 2019. The respondent No.2 has filed reply and has explained the reason for not complying with the order within time prescribed by this Court. The respondent No.1 has tendered unconditional apology for the delay caused in implementation of the order dated 13th November 2019. It is stated that due to administrative exigencies, the order was not complied with by the respondent No.2 within time. The respondent No.2 has stated that there is no deliberate noncompliance of the order.
2 cp182.20.odt 3.
By accepting unconditional apology tendered by the respondent No.2 and considering the fact that during pendency of the present petition, the respondent No.2 has complied with the order dated 13/01/2019 and also order dated 01/03/2021 of allotting Shalarth ID to the petitioner, we drop the proceedings under the provisions of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1972 against the respondents. The Contempt Petition is, therefore, disposed of. No costs.
