DATE : January 11, 2017 The applicant has sought stay of the effect and operation of the judgment dated 06/08/2013 which has been impugned in the present appeal. By the said judgment, the appellant as well as the respondent No.3 has been held jointly and severally liable to pay compensation. Hence on the applicant's depositing 50% of the total of amount of compensation awarded by the Claims Tribunal, the effect and operation of the impugned judgment shall remain stayed in so far as the applicant is concerned.

Civil application is disposed of.
