The common grievance is that the petitioners have been denied one notional annual increment since they have retired one day prior to the cutoff date, which is 1st July of the year.
02] It is the common ground that the issue is covered by the decision of the coordinate bench in Writ Petition 5864 of 2019.
03] For the reasons articulated by the coordinate bench in order dated 02/03/2022 in Writ Petition 5864 of 2019, we allow the petition and direct the Zilla Parishad to grant notional annual increment to the petitioners within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of the judgment. Needless to observe that the petitioners shall be entitled to the consequential financial benefits, if any.
