DATE : 06/07/2021 Hearing was conducted through Video Conferencing and the learned counsel agreed that the audio and visual quality was proper.

This petition was repeatedly listed before this Court. On 01/02/2021, none appeared on behalf the petitioner and the petition stood adjourned to the next week. On 09/02/2021, a statement was made on behalf of the learned counsel holding for Advocate Mr. Salim Naved that he was not available for arguments. The petition was adjourned with a direction that the objections noted by the Registry

2 / 3 02-WP 615.2020 shall be removed and a cost of Rs.2000/- was imposed.

Thereafter, on 26/02/2021, the petitioner appeared in person and stated that his counsel was not keeping well and hence the petition was adjourned.

Thereafter, on 11/03/2021 this Court noted that on 05/03/2021 the petition had been argued at length and then it was adjourned at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner in order to answer certain queries put by the Court. Thereafter, it was recorded in the order dated 11/03/2021 that Mr.S.T.Chauhan, Advocate appeared and informed the Court that the petitioner had engaged him and that he would like to argue the matter at length.

Thereafter, when the petition was listed on 15/06/2021, again none appeared on behalf of the petitioner.

Even today when the petition is called out for hearing, none has appeared on behalf of the petitioner. The learned Assistant Government Pleader

3 / 3 02-WP 615.2020 has appeared, since advance copy of the petition was served on the office of the Government Pleader. 7.

In view of the above, it appears that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing this petition. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. JUDGE
