The applicant is seeking bail in Crime No.387 of 2020 registered at Police Station Karanja Rural Police Station, Washim for the offence punishable under Sections 302, 120(B), 323 and 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.
The allegation against the present applicant is that the applicant along with the co-accused committed murder of Suresh Hatkar due to their political rivalry. With regard to the role attributed to the present applicant, the FIR shows that he along with co-accused had thrown stones on the vehicle which was carrying injured Suresh Hatkar. Apart from this, the FIR does not attribute any other substantive role against the present applicant in the commission of crime.

It is informed that this Court has released the similarly situated accused on pre-arrest bail. Considering this fact and considering the limited role attributed to the applicant, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the applicant on the following conditions :
(i) The applicant - Kartik Sunil Sawant, shall be released on bail on his executing a personal bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rs. Twenty Five thousand only) with one surety in the like amount.
(ii) The applicant shall not issue threats or tamper with the prosecution witnesses.
(iii) The applicant shall attend Police Station once in a month on every first Thursday of the month.

Needless to mention that the observations made in this application are strictly for deciding the present application of the applicant and the Trial Court shall not get influenced by the same and shall be free to decide the matter on its merits. 6.
The criminal application stands disposed of.
