After hearing learned counsel for the applicant for some time and on expressing disinclination to grant bail, learned counsel for the applicant prays for withdrawal of the present application. However, he states that as the applicant is taking treatment in the hospital, interim protection may be granted to enable him to surrender before the learned trial Court or before the Police Authorities. 2.

Considering the request of the learned counsel for the applicant that the applicant is hospitalized and he will take further period of two weeks for recovery and to surrender in connection with present crime, I am of the opinion that the interim protection needs to be granted for two weeks. Accordingly, I pass the following order:- a) The criminal application is disposed of as withdrawn.

22-aba-547-2022.odt b) The applicant shall not be arrested for two weeks to enable him to surrender either before the learned trial Court or before the Police Authorities. c) On expiry of two weeks time, the interim protection shall stand cancelled and breach in surrendering will be taken as a serious breach.
