During the pendency of the writ petition, the respondents initially by the order dated 22.08.2014 granted the petitioner the benefit of revised pay-scale from 01.02.2014. On the representation made by the petitioner on 29.12.2014 the respondents passed a fresh order on 16.05.2015 and held the petitioner entitled for such benefits from 01.01.2006. In that order, it has been stated that the petitioner completed twelve years service on 01.06.1995.

By seeking to amend the writ petition, the petitioner seeks to claim benefit of revised pay for the period from 01.06.1995 to 31.12.2005. The amendment is therefore found necessary. It is accordingly granted. The civil application is allowed. Amendment be carried out within a period of one week. W.P. NO.5670/2006.

Leave granted to the petitioner to place on record the order of promotion dated 06.03.2010.

Time of two weeks is granted to the respondents to file reply to the amended writ petition.
