On 13/09/2024, we referred to the pursis filed by the petitioner, in absence of the petitioner, noting that the respondent-Zilla Parishad had given assurance that the representation of the petitioner for deemed date of promotion shall be considered. 2.

We have no means to ascertain the compliance of the aforesaid, as the petitioner has failed to mark his presence either in person or through his counsel.

We deem it appropriate to dispose of the petition by recording a statement made by Ms Meghna Munshi, counsel appearing for the respondent-Zilla Parishad that the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed.

No order as to costs.
