DATE : 22.11.2016 The only prayer made by the petitioner in the instant petition is for a direction to the Sub-Divisional Officer to decide the application made by the petitioner under Section 44 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code for conversion of his land to non-agricultural use. It is stated on behalf of the petitioner that though the petitioner has made an application on 19.6.2012 under Section 44 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, the same is not decided till date.
Mrs. Prabhu, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents states, on instructions, from the Sub-Divisional Officer that the application of the petitioner would be decided within four months.
