By this petition, the petitioner challenges the termination notice dated 24.06.2014 asking the petitioner as to why her services should not be terminated for not producing the caste validity certificate.
Mrs. Taiwade, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents, states on instructions from the Collector, Amravati that the appointment of the petitioner was made in Open Category and the notice of termination dated 24.06.2014 has been withdrawn. It is stated that the petition would not survive in view of the withdrawal of the notice of termination.
In view of the statement made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the cause for filing this petition would not survive. The writ petition is, therefore, disposed of by accepting the statement made on behalf of the Collector, Amravati.
No order as to costs.
