CORAM : A.S. CHANDURKAR AND VINAY JOSHI, JJ.

DATE : JANUARY 20 , 2020 .

The petitioner who is serving as Headmaster in the school run by the respondent no.3-Society was approved to function as such on 09.06.2017. The aforesaid approval came to be withdrawn on the ground that the petitioner was not following the directions issued to him. The Management was directed to confer rights to submit the pay-bills to the senior-most teacher. This order is the subject matter of challenge in this writ petition. On 27.06.2017, the petitioner was directed to comply with the directions issued in the impugned communication without prejudice to his rights. Accordingly, the petitioner has filed his affidavit dated 13.07.2017 stating therein that the necessary bills including the amount of annual increment of Shri D.N. Khedikar, Assistant Teacher had been submitted to the concerned Authorities. In view of aforesaid, it becomes clear that the impugned order dated 09.06.2017 has been worked out by the petitioner by submitting the pay-bills.

The dispute raised by Shri D.N. Khedikar before the Deputy Director of Education has also been resolved in view of subsequent orders passed therein.

WP3895-17 Shri K.L. Dharmadhikari, learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondent no.4, on instructions, submits that the approval of the petitioner on the post of Headmaster has now been restored.

In view of these developments, the purpose for filing the writ petition stands served. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
