The applicant is convicted for offence punishable under section 377 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 8 and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act).

The victim was aged 12 years.

The earlier application for suspension of sentence was withdrawn since this Court was about to dismiss the application.

I do not see any reason to entertain this application. However, Shri A.S. Londhe, the learned counsel submits that since the sentence is not being suspended, the appeal may be heard early.

The R & P is received.

Private Paper book is therefore dispensed with. Shri Londhe states that the depositions are placed on record.
