The challenge in this petition is to order dated 14/06/2002 passed by the Registrar, Panjanbrao Deshmukh Krushi Vidhyapith, Akola granting permission to the respondent no.3-Society to start an agricultural school.

The contention raised in this petition is that the respondent no. 3 did not specify the criteria of having distance of more than 25 km from one another existing agricultural school. The another contention raised in this petition is that the respondent no. 4 was

wp2280.odt then, the Member of Legislative Assembly and also the member of Local Inquiry Committee constituted to grant permission and the respondent no. 3-the president of the society was his relative and thus there was a favoritism.

The relation of the Respondent No. 3 and Respondent No. 4 has been denied. We do not find anything on record to substantiate such a plea. Permission was granted on 07/06/2002 though it was subject to the result of this petition by an order 17/08/2002. We do not find any reason to interfere with the order granting such permission, particularly because of lapse of time and there may be changes in the government policy also.

The writ petition is dismissed. Rule stands discharged. No costs.
