We have heard this matter for some time. Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, seeks leave of the Court to withdraw the petition with liberty to make an appropriate representation to the Government of Maharashtra, questioning the validity of the Government Resolution dated 17.11.2017, in the light of the provisions contained in Article 243-W of the Constitution of India and Section 312-A of the Maharashtra Municipal Council Nagar Panchayat and Industrial Township Act, 1965.

Leave with liberty as prayed for is granted.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
