The learned counsel for the petitioner states on the basis of the pursis filed on behalf of the respondent no.2 that the Divisional Commissioner, Nagpur Division, Nagpur has directed the Zilla Parishad to decide the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law. It is stated that since the Zilla Parishad is ready to decide the representation of the petitioner, the cause in the petition, would not survive, at this stage.
The learned counsel for the Zilla Parishad makes a statement that the representation of the petitioner would be decided within a period of two months.
In view of the statement made by the petitioner on the basis of the statement made on behalf of the respondent no.2, we dispose of the writ petition with no order as to costs. The points raised in the petition are, however, kept open.
