We have heard Shri Ramteke, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner. Son of the petitioner, who was working with the respondent police authorities has committed suicide. 2.

In the petition, it is claimed that not only the issue of suicide of son of the petitioner is to be investigated by registering an offence, but, against the culprits i.e. senior officers, departmental action be directed. 3.

So as to substantiate the aforesaid contentions, Shri Ramteke, Rgd.

Order 1309wp500.23 has relied on the port-mortem report, suicide note and other documents. The fact remains that the petitioner has an alternative remedy, hence we are not inclined to go into the said issue. The petitioner can take recourse to the alternative remedy available to him. However, considering the nature of allegations and reliefs claimed, we deem it appropriate to direct the Superintendent of Police, Gadchiroli to treat this petition as a representation of petitioner, take appropriate decision thereon and communicate the same to the petitioner within a period of three months from today.
