This is an application for condonation of delay in filing the appeal under Section 54 of the Land Acquisition Act. 2.

Learned Advocate for the applicant submits that the delay of 626 days occurred in the process of obtaining necessary approvals and getting sanctions for paying the amount of court fees. 3.

Having regard to the contents of the application and submissions advanced, the delay of 626 days does not appear intentional and therefore, the application is allowed and the delay of 626 days is condoned subject to costs of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only), to be paid by the applicant to respondent No.1, within a period of two weeks from today.

The civil application is accordingly disposed of.

This is an application for grant of stay.

By order dated 19.10.2024, passed by this Court, interim stay was granted, subject to the appellant depositing the entire decreetal amount, within a period of twelve weeks. On failure of the appellant to deposit the decreetal amount within the time granted, the stay stood vacated on 13.01.2025. It is pointed out that the appellant has deposited the entire decreetal amount on 22.04.2025 and therefore, a request is made for grant of stay. 7.

Having regard to the fact that the entire decreetal amount is deposited, there shall be stay to the impugned Judgment and Award dated 16.06.2022, passed by Civil Judge Senior Division, Darwha, Dist. Yavatmal, in LAR No.13 of 2014, till the disposal of the appeal. 8.
