Heard Shri N.C. Phadnis, learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri D.M. Kale, learned AGP for the respondents.

The petitioner, whose caste claim has been invalidated on 03.03.2005, has expired in the year 2012. The statement to that effect is made by Shri Phadnis, learned counsel, upon instructions. He points out that while issuing rule in the matter on 20.05.2005, ad interim relief was granted and operation and effect of said order of Scrutiny Committee was stayed and the employer was restrained from initiating any action against the petitioner, consequent upon invalidation of her Tribe claim. In view of this interim order and subsequent death of the petitioner, we dispose of the present petition as infructuous. Rule discharged. No order as to costs. JUDGE JUDGE *GS.
