By this Writ Petition, the petitioner seeks a direction against the respondent no.1-State of Maharashtra, to release the arrears of salary to the petitioner within a time-frame. Shri Ambarish Joshi, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondent nos. 1 to 4 states that the claim of the petitioner and certain other similarly situated employees, has been rejected by the policy in the Government Resolution dated 23rd June 2016.

Shri Tejas Deshpande, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner would withdraw this Writ Petition and file appropriate proceedings for challenging the decision of the State Government.

In view of the aforesaid, the Writ Petition stands disposed of as withdrawn. The points raised in the petition are, however, kept open.
