An order suspending the registration granted to the petitioner under Section 19(1) of the Pre-Conception and Pre-natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act, 2003 and the subsequent dismissal of the appeal filed by her is under challenge in this writ petition. The petitioner has filed the present application seeking permission to withdraw the writ petition by keeping the contentions in relation to the impugned order open. It has been stated that in the criminal proceedings filed against the petitioner this Court by judgment dated 26-2-2015 has dismissed the complaint filed against the petitioner. It is further stated that on 30-6-2016, a communication has been issued by the Municipal Corporation to the petitioner stating therein that if the present writ petition is withdrawn, it may take further steps in the matter.

2 1507caw1415.16 In view of communication dated 30-6-2016, the writ petition is allowed to be withdrawn. However, in case the grievance of the petitioner subsists after withdrawal of the writ petition, she would be at liberty to agitate her grievances. Rule stands disposed of in aforesaid terms with no order as to costs.
