The registration of the petitioner-society and 33 other societies was cancelled as per the common order passed by the State Government. The order passed by the State Government was challenged before this Court in Writ Petition No. 6739 of 2015 and other connected mattes. Writ Petition No. 6739 of 2015 and other connected matters are dismissed by the judgment delivered on 28th July, 2016. As the order passed by the State Government directing cancellation of the registration of the societies is upheld by this Court, the relief sought by the petitioner in this petition cannot be granted and the Election Officer cannot be directed to include the name of the representative of the petitioner-society as the petitioner society is not

The petition is dismissed. No costs.
