MARCH 26, 2025 The learned Counsel for the petitioners, on instructions, seeks permission to withdraw the petition and to file appeal under Section 16 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. 2] Permission is granted. The petition is disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. 3] The order of status quo, passed on 19/7/2023, shall continue for a period of two weeks from today, i.e. up to 9/4/2025, within which time, the petitioners shall appeal. Further interim orders shall, however, be passed by the Appellate Authority, if request/ prayer, to that effect, is made by the petitioners, but shall be considered on its own merit.
