This application filed by applicant/husband, under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, seeks quashing of charge-sheet No. 144 of 2018 and proceedings of Regular Criminal Case No. 2258 of 2018 pending before the learned 16th Joint Civil Judge, Junior Division and Judicial Magistrate First Class, Corporation Court No.2, Nagpur. First Information Report was lodged by non-applicant no.2. 3.
During the pendency of the application, applicant and nonapplicant no.2 have amicably settled the dispute and the compromise terms are executed between the parties. As per the compromise, applicant has paid an amount of Rs.15,00,000/- to non-applicant no.2 towards permanent alimony and he has also undertaken to bear the educational expenses of children i.e. daughter Vaidhehi and son Anvay. Nonapplicant no.2 by filing affidavit has confirmed this fact. 4.
Applicant and non-applicant no.2 are present in the Court and they are identified by their respective advocates. Non-applicant no.2 confirms the settlement and has no objection to quash the proceedings against the applicant. Applicant has undertaken to bear the educational expenses of his children.

In view of the amicable settlement of the matrimonial dispute, we allow the application and quash the proceedings of Regular Criminal Case No. 2258 of 2018 pending before the learned 16th Joint Civil Judge, Junior Division and Judicial Magistrate First Class,
3/3 Corporation Court No.2, Nagpur arising out of charge-sheet No. 144 of 2018.
