The Tribe claim of the petitioner of belonging to "ThakurScheduled Tribe" is pending consideration with respondent - Committee. 2.

Our attention is invited to the validity certificate dated 25.11.2024 issued to the real brother of the petitioner. 3.

In response to the above and having regard to the prayer in the petition, learned Assistant Government Pleader Shri S.M. Ghodeswar, states that the committee shall make every endeavour to decide the validity claim of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of appearance i.e. 28.07.2023.

Accordingly, we dispose of the Writ Petition with following directions.

7 wp 3431-2025.odt 2/2 a) The Committee, while dealing with the claim of the petitioner for issuance of validity, shall be sensitive of the validity issued in favour of real brother of the petitioner vide certificate dated 25.11.2024. b) The Committee is directed to decide the claim of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of appearance of the petitioner i.e. 28.07.2025 and to forthwith communicate the order to the petitioner.
