Challenge in the present petition is to the order dated 15.04.2025, removing the petitioner from the services of respondents on the ground of suppression of pendency of prosecution against her.

The appointment of the petitioner was on the post of Electrical Assistant vide order dated 16.12.2021. Subsequent thereto, during verification it was noticed that a criminal offence Rgd.

Order 2406wp3227.25 being Crime No.257/2020 for the offence punishable under Sections 143, 147, 148, 354, 324, 294, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code was pending at the time of her appointment.

It was expected of the petitioner not only to disclose the criminal prosecution against her, but, its pendency also, in view of the conditions of recruitment which contemplates disqualification. 5.

In the aforesaid background, the order impugned is quite justified which requires no interference. Writ Petition is therefore, dismissed. No cost.
