By this writ petition, the petitioner has sought the correction of the answer papers in the test conducted for making appointments, as according to the petitioner the petitioner ought to have got 20 additional marks as he has answered the questions correctly.

The learned counsel for the respondents has tendered a pursis in the court today. It is stated in the pursis that since the agency appointed by the respondents had committed a mistake in assessing the papers, the respondents have decided to cancel the provisional select/wait list and the select list and wait list would be published.

In view of the statements made in the pursis, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed at this stage. Hence, we dispose of the writ petition by accepting the statement made on behalf of the respondents. Order accordingly. No costs. JUDGE JUDGE Gulande
